Terms of Payment and Delivery
The following Payment methods are available in our online shop:
PayPal
During the ordering process, you will be automatically redirected to the PayPal payment page, where you can log in using your account details and complete the payment. You will then be redirected back to our shop, at which point the order and payment will be complete. As soon as PayPal confirms the payment to us, we will dispatch the goods.
Credit card
At the end of the ordering process, you can pay by Visa or Mastercard. Once the transaction has been authorised by your credit card issuer, we will dispatch your order immediately within the delivery time stated for the item. Your credit card will be charged when the order is completed. Deliveries can only be made to the cardholder’s address.
Direct debit (via PayPal, Germany only)
We accept direct debit payments via PayPal.
Sofortüberweisung.de
Sofortüberweisung.de is the first TÜV-certified online payment system. At the end of the ordering process, you can transfer the final amount securely and conveniently online. To do this, you will need a current account with online banking enabled (PIN, TAN). We deliver immediately within the delivery time specified for the item. Payment in advance
You will receive our bank details in the order confirmation email. Please transfer the total amount, quoting the order number as the payment reference. As soon as the amount has been credited to our account (1–3 days depending on the bank), we will dispatch the goods on the same day. Please do not send us any screenshots or similar as confirmation. With this payment method, we have to wait for the funds to actually be received . If you need the goods urgently, please choose a different payment method.
For payments made in advance, we offer a 1 per cent discount on the invoice amount.
Cash collection
You also have the option of collecting the goods from our premises in Ilmenau during the stated opening hours. If you wish to collect the goods and pay in cash, you must send us your order in writing and specify the desired collection date. Please do not forget to include a telephone number in case we need to contact you.
Purchase on account for public sector organisations and businesses
We are happy to supply public sector organisations (government departments, schools, universities, institutes) on an invoice basis.
Please ensure that the delivery and billing addresses are clearly legible in sufficiently large print. Furthermore, the name of the purchaser should be clearly stated, along with a direct telephone number and an email address.
You will receive an order confirmation by email shortly, which will also specify the delivery date. Please check this carefully for any errors. Provided the goods are in stock, they will be dispatched on the same or the following working day. You will receive a dispatch notification by email.
If you would like the invoice to be sent separately by post, please state this clearly on the order. Simply providing different billing and delivery addresses is not sufficient in this case.
Purchase on account for businesses
Corporate customers and commercial resellers can order from us on invoice terms (subject to a positive credit rating). For purchases on invoice, a minimum order value of 500.00 euros gross per order applies. Provision of a VAT registration number is a prerequisite. This offer does not apply to so-called micro-retailers who are not entitled to VAT deduction.
Purchase on account for end customers (via PayPal Plus)
End customers may purchase on account via PayPal Plus. At the end of the ordering process, please follow the system’s instructions.
VAT-free invoicing
We deliver VAT-free from Germany to other EU countries and Switzerland, subject to the following conditions.
EU countries:
You must be a business customer and hold a valid VAT number.
The billing address must match the address used when registering the VAT number . (Please ensure the exact spelling of the company name or trading name.)
When placing your order, please include your VAT number in your details and transfer only the net amount stated in the confirmation email.
Switzerland, Norway:
We generally deliver VAT-free to these countries. The billing and delivery addresses must be in Switzerland or Norway. If paying in advance, please transfer only the net amount. For PayPal payments, we will refund the tax immediately. Delivery is carried out exclusively via the German Post.
Deliveries to non-EU countries
Additional customs duties and charges may apply to deliveries to non-EU countries. Further information can be found HERE
Export of goods to countries outside the EU following purchase in Germany:
Once the goods have been exported, please send us the original invoice stamped by customs (including the green customs form, if applicable) (please make a copy for your records). We will then refund the VAT to an account specified by you. For accounts outside Germany, transaction fees may apply, which will be at your expense.
Delivery information
We deliver within Europe as standard under the specified terms and conditions. If your country is not on the list provided, please contact our sales team directly. Provided the delivery status is listed as ‘in stock’, we will deliver within 1–3 days.
Domestic (DPD Standard): Within Germany, we charge a flat-rate delivery fee of 5.00 EUR for orders up to a value of 500 EUR. For orders of 500 EUR or more, we deliver free of charge via DPD.
Domestic (DHL Premium): Within Germany, for orders up to a value of 500 EUR, we charge a flat-rate delivery fee of 7.50 EUR. For orders of 500 EUR or more, we charge 2.50 EUR for deliveries via DHL.
International:
Zone A – Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands: 12.00 euros
Zone B – Switzerland, Czech Republic, Denmark, Liechtenstein: 14.00 euros
Zone C – France, Great Britain, Monaco: 19.00 euros
Zone D – Hungary, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia: 21.00 euros
Zone E – Spain, Ireland, Portugal, Sweden: 27.00 euros
Zone F – Estonia, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia, Norway: 29.00 euros
Zone G – Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia: 39.00 euros
Zone H – Bulgaria, Greece, Iceland, Romania: 55.00 euros
Please note: The costs listed here include the full VAT rate, currently 19 per cent. Should the delivery be VAT-exempt, the postage costs/fees will be adjusted accordingly.
For bank transfers from abroad: Please cover all charges or make a so-called EU bank transfer or SEPA (faster) transfer, and transfer the amount exclusively in EUR .
SEPA transfers from Switzerland: Please note that bank charges of 3 EUR apply for amounts under 100 EUR and 5 EUR for amounts of 100 EUR or more . Please increase the amount accordingly.
Delivery will not be made if the amount is insufficient!
For deliveries outside Germany, additional costs may arise upon import into a third country (customs duties, any customs charges and import VAT). These additional costs are to be borne by the customer .
